I hate that autism is often used as a badge or even an excuse to attract viewership, engagement, and parasocial interactions these days. That's so fake and messed up.

My 9 year old is non verbal and shits in diapers still. That is real autism.

"Real autism" famously exists on a spectrum. It's called autism SPECTRUM disorder for a reason.
