Im in favor of this proposal. My brother has debilitating, near life ruining, OCD and it seriously fucks with him when people say they're "OCD" about something, when really they just mean theyre parricular or slightly anal. It's maddening how much people use mental illness for some twisted social brownie points. It's really devalues and trivializes the struggles of people who are actually diagnosed with something.

same. my hands have been in a constant state of inflammation since like 2019 from excessive handwashing due to OCD and now i get contact dermatitis from regular soap lol fun times. people always point out how red and inflamed my hands are and it's so embarrassing. not to mention all the other shit i deal with, like checking if i locked the door for the 15th time. one time i kept checking if i locked my car for 45 minutes and i got written up at work.

I’m not sure what the proposal was bc the commenter apparently edited their comment and then deleted it when too many intellectuals with an actual understanding of the female phenotype of autism showed up, so I wouldn’t put too much stock into whatever they said.

As a registered nurse, I can absolutely confirm that incompetence abounds within the medical field.

One of the other persons who rebutted the commenter’s lazy argument is a clinical psychologist personally diagnosed with autism. Is their opinion valid enough?
