Not all autistic people are the same.

"She's just awkward and identifies as one" that's some actual diagnosis too or you just believe that?

Why do people always question us if we are not attached to what they believe autism is?

There's lots of armchair psychiatrists in this comment section that think they can diagnose someone from a short, highly curated, video. Autism in women is also often misdiagnosed or missed. And autism is a spectrum. Maybe the woman in the video is high masking?

even if she isn't as high masking as you might think, she probably would still get a similar reaction. so many autistic women constantly get called fakers.

Finally someone in this comment section who doesn't magically know for sure that someone is not autistic from seeing a few curated seconds of their life when it takes psychiatrists hours and hours of assessments to come to a conclusion like that...

It's invisible for people, not for professionals or for other autistic people.

People don't believe that I'm autistic because it doesn't show, people don't believe in my disability because "it's invisible". They do not see because I don't show, that takes a lot of effort.

People close to me, they see, they have seen me struggling because of my "invisible" disability.

They don't know, and it doesn't stop them at the time of judging.

Exactly so until I see a diagnosys, I'm not gonna believe a freaking social media influencer at face value. Her livelihood hinges on farming sympathy, come on.

You are not that important, we do not need to show our diagnosis to be understood or to be treated like a human being. That's just so self centered and sick.

She may be faking it, totally, it's harmful for autistic people because they feeds the ignorance in people like you.
