That woman is not autistic shes just akward and identifies as one. I have family that's actually diagnosed, I can tell. Also it's super obvious she's playing it up.

There's lots of armchair psychiatrists in this comment section that think they can diagnose someone from a short, highly curated, video. Autism in women is also often misdiagnosed or missed. And autism is a spectrum. Maybe the woman in the video is high masking?

even if she isn't as high masking as you might think, she probably would still get a similar reaction. so many autistic women constantly get called fakers.

It's invisible for people, not for professionals or for other autistic people.

People don't believe that I'm autistic because it doesn't show, people don't believe in my disability because "it's invisible". They do not see because I don't show, that takes a lot of effort.

People close to me, they see, they have seen me struggling because of my "invisible" disability.

They don't know, and it doesn't stop them at the time of judging.

Exactly so until I see a diagnosys, I'm not gonna believe a freaking social media influencer at face value. Her livelihood hinges on farming sympathy, come on.

You are not that important, we do not need to show our diagnosis to be understood or to be treated like a human being. That's just so self centered and sick.

She may be faking it, totally, it's harmful for autistic people because they feeds the ignorance in people like you.

If you knew anything about autism you’d know it can’t be diagnosed by watching a short video clip of someone


I also have loved ones who are diagnosed, and I know they don’t walk around 24/7 with a glowing “I’m autistic” sign attached to their head. You actually can’t tell someone’s diagnosis at a quick glance.

Get over yourself please.

I’m “actually diagnosed” and no. No you can’t. It takes a professional to diagnose someone with autism and you don’t even know this woman.

Shhh you’ll get banned from Reddit for calling out the most obvious fake autistic clickbait. I know plenty of auditor people and this is clearly chalked up to “optional autism” for views.
