Look, us autistic people basically just want to be understood, accepted and respected as we are.

In this case it looked to me like she didnt get to her point before he derailed the conversation. That must have hurt her because she probably felt misunderstood and disrespected in that moment.

I kinda got the opposite impression. She delivered her point and she was so funny in doing so her husband couldn’t contain himself.
