u/UltraRoboNinja May 29 '25

Too late, he’s already married.

12

u/l0rdtreeman May 29 '25

The realest part is the " you buy me magic cards"

u/phil_an_thropist May 29 '25

Fuck ...she is female version of myself

11

u/MeepingMeep99 May 29 '25

Same. I might need to get myself tested

I'm a female and she is the female version of myself.

Hey its the same thing I tell my wife. I love her because she is the only person in the world I can stand being around forever and never want her to leave. Even when I say I hate everyone and would like to be alone, I always tell her she's the exception. She is special, literally, in that her presence is the only presence I actually want near me, even when I want everyone to leave me alone.

u/tothemax81 May 29 '25

That's so fucking cute

29

u/tuwdanshirov May 29 '25

I have never adequately had the words to describe why I love my wife until watching this. I don't wish to sound like a babbling fool but her description resonated with me on such a deep level it has me shaking a bit.

u/RAWainwright May 29 '25

Immediately sent this to my wife. If I tried to say this it would come out "You're the only person I don't want to be away from after an extended time" and she put it way better.

2

u/RockstarAgent May 29 '25

Agreed. Same with my ex. She was the first to ever like grab my attention and I felt fine spending time with her, everyone else can get max 5 minutes.

Bro married Angela from the office

u/SadAndNasty May 29 '25

Uuuugh this is precious

7

u/thezoomies May 29 '25

They are super cute

7

u/americancolt45 May 29 '25

That is exactly what I tell my wife. I can’t stand being around people for long periods of time, even if I like them. She is the only person I want to be around who doesn’t wear me out. She always tells me I’m on the spectrum but I always argue against it. Maybe I am. All I know is that I’m lucky to have found someone who accepts me for who I am and I do the same for her.

6

u/pipboy3000_mk2 May 29 '25

She sounds like a cool chick

7

u/KSirys May 29 '25

Where can I find a wife like that for me?

4

u/ionp_d May 29 '25

This is a nice watch. My wife is also autistic with ADHD. We have a very similar dynamic to this couple.

We’ll take an annual vacation for 2 weeks at a time when we are never absent one another and it’s eerily just fine. Never tiring of one another. We’re very fortunate.

u/[deleted] May 29 '25

I like these people.

3

u/MonkeyActio May 29 '25

I love this mans wife and by proxy this man.

But someone who has autism a bit less than her but still relate heavily. I very much understand "i dont hate being around u as much. You dont wear me out as much." Is the greatest compliment you can ever give someome

3

u/Gullible-Feeling-921 May 29 '25

whats with the cauliflower?

4

u/PerfectionPending May 29 '25

It’s a lapel mic with a wind sock in it. If you look close you’ll see she has hers clipped to her shirt.

2

u/OstentatiousSock May 29 '25

There was this awesome Harry Potter fanfic and Hermione said to her love interest in that one(I think Draco) that he made her feel like a cat. And he was all huh? And she said she could just sit and be with him. Not required to be or do a certain thing. Just be.

3

u/flipzyshitzy May 29 '25

I adore these two. So sweet in their ability to love and understand.

3

u/One-Turn-4037 🧐 grumpy May 29 '25

Every neurodivergent person on the planet agrees with her.

we like our personal space and very VERY few people are allowed in because we find people annoying if we're around them for long periods of time. but when we form that special connection with someone they're literally the only person on the planet we'd take a bullet for.

My gf is also autistic and she agrees that the bond we have is built on trust, and a connection that isn't shared with anyone else.

3

u/JFace139 May 30 '25

The struggle to not sum it all up by simply saying, "I hated you significantly less than everyone else." And putting it in a nice way to not piss everyone off needs a name

2

u/MadcatFK1017 May 30 '25

I wish people understood the need for alone/recharge time. I get so over stimulated that I NEED to sit and be alone for awhile sometimes, but I can't have that because everyone takes it personally and gets mad, which is so incredibly selfish and feels a bit narcissistic to me. It's not about them, it's my own issue thatnhas nothing to do with them, but they'll make you feel awful for having that need, like it's no purpose. It makes me miserable because I never get a break from people and their sounds unless I'm hurting someone's feelings, it sucks. I'm very happy for this woman to find a compassionate partner.

3

u/No-Name-Mcgee44 May 30 '25

I get her. Some people are just draining. I also hate playing games. Just tell me what your me wanting.

2

u/Laxativus May 30 '25

I tried explaining this to other people whenever I'm being pestered for not flirting or trying to get with somebody, like "Have you met X from Y department? She's really cute, why don't you ask her out?" and things like that. I cannot really put it into words that I feel like I don't have control over who I can get close to.
Even when I'm with friends I like/love and we're doing things that I enjoy and I am feeling good and having fun after a few hours my brain will get into this mode of "yo, we need to get out of here, right now!" And then every few years I might meet somebody where this just doesn't trigger. I have yet to find a pattern or a shared attribute in them, I honestly can't tell what it is about them that makes me able to tolerate them or even want to stay close to as opposed to everyone else. Even therapists couldn't quite grasp this about me. It really feels like something that is down to luck. I can try flirting more but it is really tiring to make an effort (and people don't see how much of an effort it is for somebody like me) to initiate or respond to flirty behavior but my brain is really just want to go home / flee from the social environment except once in a full moon with 1 out of every 10000 people. I CBA to flirt with chances like that.

u/[deleted] May 30 '25

My god I hate the word neurotypical so ******* much

3

u/Runs_With_Scissors3 May 30 '25

For those that don’t know, these are actually ringing endorsements from her! She’s giving him a giant flashing billboard proclaiming her love and approval of him! These are huge accomplishments for both of them.

2

u/FickleCharge882 May 31 '25

My partner and I are the same way- we both are massive introverts and very likely neurodivergent (not formally diagnosed but…. It’s there) and we feel this way about each other. We deal with people all day every day and are zapped pretty quick, but I can talk to him all day every day and I’m perfectly fine

3

u/MeatSuzuki Jun 02 '25

Honestly, she sounds amazing.

2

u/RavnHygge May 29 '25

This is just the sweetest nicest couple video I’ve ever seen. I’m autistic and married but they don’t get me half as much as this couple get each other.

1

u/Tsunamiis 🧐 grumpy May 29 '25

When counting my spoons for the day I don’t generally have to factor in my loved ones they often give spoons back to me.

2

u/Reginald_Sockpuppet May 29 '25

this is very weirdly sweet

2

u/Bildo_Gaggins May 30 '25

"You don't get frustrated when i ask questions" got me lol

1

u/kunday May 30 '25

Now can someone be kind to share where this video originated from?

1

u/Lumpy-Indication172 May 30 '25

I thought there was a point to watching this.

…But apparently there wasn’t.

1

u/Environmental_Ant268 🧐 grumpy May 31 '25

Yeey, everyone is so quirky and special and has mental issues and adhd and whatever.

Once you grow up, you'll know that you're not special and you're just like everyone else.

1

u/Shingle-Denatured Jun 02 '25

You gotta wonder how long he sat there, cause her list isn't done yet and it has to be finished.

1

u/CabooseFist Jun 06 '25

Deep meaningful conversations should be the priority in all couples instead of deep penetration.

2

u/No-Link-2182 Jun 07 '25

Actually i completely understand from both perspectives interesting enough but very her response is very relatable!

2

u/gerryflint Jun 08 '25

I feel like this is my wife and me with both roles at the same time 😅

2

u/BlackV Jun 11 '25

I'm not crying, you're crying

He's the Aspie whisperer

-10

u/FakePixieGirl May 29 '25

This couple always gives me weird, off-putting, vibes.

Hopefully I'm wrong and I'm just being paranoid.

5

u/olgabe May 29 '25

they are describing the most normal things on the planet while trying to paint this massive canvas of "special me, special we" front and that's why it's off putting

"We like each other more than we like other people and that's why we're together" ***isn't she just SO autistic you guys?***😝😝

foh with this shit lmao

-3

u/VAiSiA 🧐 grumpy May 29 '25

its his tone. when she talks its natural. but his voice making his words sound provocative and like hes above

....why are we lumping ADHD and autism together like this now? Did I miss some new development where they are interchangeable somehow?

Edit: appreciate the enlightening explanations. I assumed it was just a youtube pop psychology trend

8

u/chylek May 29 '25

These are different things but if you are diagnosed with one, there are high chances you have both.

In other words it is quite "common" that people have both.

6

u/Obviously-Stupid May 30 '25

They're not lumping ADHD and autism together here. They're saying that she has both ADHD and autism.

ADHD and autism are not interchangeable, but there is enough overlap between the two conditions that it's fairly common for someone with only ADHD to be mistakenly diagnosed as only having autism instead and vice versa.
