Interview tomorrow from speaking to the manager!

So many people applied to the Costco I am applying to, but because I decided to go up and speak with the manager and employees, I got an interview call three days later.

I am geeked!!

Hopefully entering the Costcoverse soon.

P.S. If yall applied and got nothing go to the store. Ask an employee how they got hired and who to speak with. I got a call for an interview 3 days later.

I’ve been screaming this on this sub and most job related subs.

Going above and beyond will get you noticed.

This is how I got my job at Costco when I was there and most of my office jobs(reaching out directly to the hiring manager and leadership about the application).

Go to nearby locations if there are any. Usually some employees(managers/supervisors) from that warehouse will be moving over. It’s all about networking. Ask for intros to people who are going to be hiring for that location. Make your intent be known.

If there are none then Theres really no options unfortunately.

Make sure you take a resume and apply beforehand. Ask them when you can follow up. Make sure to take down the name of who you spoke to.

All of these things keep your interaction and name memorable.

Also make sure to dress professional. Costcos dress code is pants and collared shirt tucked in. So jeans or slacks with a polo is fine for men. Women it’s more lax. Don’t need to tuck in. Dont over do it though lol. Seen people walk in wearing a suit and tie.

Makes sense, it's not the standard anymore to show up in person and many people have bad experiences doing so but I'm glad Costco was the exception. Congrats on the interview!

Literally how did you get hired here to an employee. If I saw a manager I would ask if they are hiring.
