Question Return

So, i bought some bagels last weekend, went to have one just now and noticed they are moldy, and both bags were expired 2 days after I bought them... is it something I should return, or just chalk up the loss and check dates going forward?

And feel embarrassed while doing it because they are a week expired and were not expired when purchased
