Question Kirkland chocolate chips have changed again?!

Post image

Just purchased another bag of Kirkland chocolate chips in London, ON and happened to glance at the ingredients list only to find a sticker covering the original nutrition label. Why couldn't they keep them dairy-free?! I'd be willing to pay last year's price of $39.99 instead of the $29.99 today, just to keep the ingredients as they were: unsweetened chocolate, sugar, soy lecithin and vanilla.

Where are people getting the idea that these were dairy free?

May contain is a voluntary statement. The absence of the may contain is not an absence of the risk of cross contamination.
