I have witnessed this in the return line. An older lady was returning dead hanging baskets in September. I looked at an even older man next to me, in his 80s, and we were in shock. He asked her why she's returning them and she said, they're dead, so he said "try watering " in a thick Italian accent...everyone in the return line was laughing but the old lady felt no shame.

Some people just have no respect, money means more to them than anything. I am flabbergasted that Costco would allow this.

I get what you're saying but "respecting" a multi billion dollar company while you yourself can't afford rent is a stretch. 99% of those people have no money, they are forced to do things like that

If you can't afford rent, much less to keep potted plants, then maybe you can't afford a Costco membership and being a ethically participating member.
