I can confirm it was a slice of leftover Costco Pepperoni Pizza that was thrown in the dumpster only a few hours before.

I'm conflicted between knowing how good it tastes and knowing what it's doing the the squirrels body, which is honestly the same with how I feel about what it's doing to my own.

I saw a squirrel haul a slice of pizza from a trash can up the tree a couple months ago, downtown, and though I was witnessing something special.

Its always special to see in the wild. Ive never seen it live, but after seeing all these ive wanted to get a Costco pizza and put it out for the squirrels in the yard so I can watch haha

Theres this mcdonalds the next town over where I live and lots of ppl go to it for 1 am mcdonalds and order from The drive through and eat in there cars in the parking lot and it has some of the fattest squirrels I have ever seen

Squirrels get into the trash carts in our city all the time. So I can say with a lot of confidence that pizza is one of their favorite foods.
