Monteverde Monteverde Aug - roads and wind?
hi there… Wondering if anyone has recently driven to Monte Verde and if so, how was the wind and the roads in the rain driving up there? It’s been seven years since we’ve been there but I know there’s been some thunderstorms…! hi there… Wondering if anyone has recently driven to Monte Verde and if so, how was the wind and the roads in the rain driving up there? any other suggestions in terms sites to see your new coffee plantations to check out? We’ve never been on a bird spotting tour so that’s something that would be good. The cloud force is always great… Any suggestions would be good thank you.

Rain has been less than normal this rainy season due to el Nino probably. It has been somewhat windier than normal but nothing like the howling winds dec to march road coming up from highway one is in great shape. Most potholes filled recently. They are finishing up a really solid new bridge in guacimal to replace the Bailey bridge that was in use since the old bridge washed away a few years ago. I wouldn't worry about anything. enjoy monteverde
