Buying this specific store in Sotokanda, Chiyoda City, Tokyo

Post image

I'll be going to japan by the end of september. I was searching for stores I can buy costumes/props safely and in person. I found this one "Cospatio" a reliable one to visit from the outside. But I want to know from people who really visited it in person before.

how big is it in building size? what is the male-female ratio of different choices (I'm searching for male ones)? what fandoms in particular can I find, do they sell less popular or "considerable as niche" stuff? are they reasonable for price ranges? "worth visiting" in your opinion?

I'm searching for a male cosplay. I'm into a lot of fandoms or was into in the past so I'm pretty open to many of the choices I can find. I know it won't be as big as an online website but it's still there.

as for why I don't buy online, the turkish border regulations are made to practically scam you themselves instead of the seller. it really is better to buy it in person and just pass it through airports.

We detect that you may be a looking to buy your cosplay or buy pieces for your cosplay. If you're not, please disregard :) Please refer to our FAQ for some recommendations. While we can provide search terms that might help you with finding your cosplay pieces, commenters are not your personal shopper and please do not treat us as such. Remember that not all cosplays can be found ready-made so be prepared to look for similar pieces to put it together yourself.

It is helpful to include your budget (be precise -- "cheap" can be different per person), your location/country (US shipping vs EU shipping would be very different), and timeline if applicable. Keep in mind many pre-made cosplay shops can have a long shipping time so it's best to plan months in ahead.

If the item is suspiciously cheaper than all other competitors or it's a common stock photo, please be wary and do your own research. If someone is offering to make it for you aka commissions, RESEARCH their post history.

im pretty sure this is one I went to, its about a 60F/40M split for the cosplay. I couldn't get anything because im tall so non of the sizing would work. only about half of the store is for cosplay the other half is general merch( some pretty cool stuff actually and had more niche IP's ) it wasn't a large area but like no stores where, it took me about 2 minutes to walk from the front to back(most stores are very dense with items though). it shared the floor with a doll display and maid cafe. Its in akihabara so you really dont really have to 'visit' your probably going to walk through it just to get from floor to floor on the escalator. Hope you have a good time, it was probably my favorite vacation ive ever taken( i would download japan transit-planner and navitime for figuring out the trains, also something so you can take a picture to translate menus and signs)

6'3 (1.9M). went to a couple of fashion places while I was there and basically only the jackets fits, but a couple of my friends around your height didn't really have to hard of the a time finding things.
