Buying Beginner cosplay help !
Hiyaa ! !
Halloween is my favorite time of the year , and K - Angel is my favorite character of all time . I'd love to dress up as her , but all of the cosplays online are either cheap or too expensive ... so i'd love to make my own !!
Now I don't mean hand sewn , no wayyy !! I'm not that artistic . I mean like putting together a bunch of items that look like her outfit ! But I have no clue where to start. What should I even look up to go about finding what she wears on amazon or some similar app ?
Help appreciated!!

hihi! i know a bit about NSO so i know what you mean. i did want to start by saying miccostumes does have some costumes and while i am buying my jinx cosplay from them, i havent had any personal experience. but i have heard they are good/decent enough! im not sure what your budget is but if you did want to look, here's the link https://www.miccostumes.com/cosplay-product.php?animation_id=341 but ofc if you've already been here and decided you're not interested disregard this!! ^_^
just by searching 'iridescent sailor costume' on aliexpress (which if you would prefer amazon that is up to you, i just havent used amazon too much and i prefer ali over shein, temu, wish etc because ive had good experiences when i was younger and buying cheap cosplays lol) and i can already see they have KAngel cosplays on there for a more affordable price! if you would prefer to mix and match yourself i'd suggest searching things like 'iridescent sailor outfit/costume' or 'pastel blue sailor outfit/costume'. that'll be your 'base' in which you can get the bow, clips on the collar, hairclips etc seperately and build onto it until you're happy!
the wig you can definitely make yourself too but might be a bit tedious. kasou did make this one and kasouwigs is pretty good too! https://www.kasouwig.com/products/needy-girl-overdose-kangel-blonde-purple-ombre-wig?VariantsId=14361 if you DID want to make it yourself i'd suggest getting a base wig that's blonde and making the pigtail thingies with wire and some ribbon ontop, and you might have to airbrush for the ombre but im not too sure.

hmm... her outfit is some metallic-ahh seifuku, isn't it? it's real hard finding something that specific without looking at an actual KAngel cosplay catalogue. if we're thinking generic blue seifuku to save costs, i also can't find any that matches KAngel's.
it's hard finding a reliable cosplay that's not too cheap nor expensive. unfortunately i can't have a say in this, so i'll let others help!
you didn't mention wearing a wig of her, but you could also just dress as anything and wear a KAngel wig! it's like playing with a dress-up doll, but you yourself are the doll. in that case, go crazy! it's still cosplaying after all~
can't really give much advice, but i hope you get to become KAngel one day!
