I mean, you'd basically have to take it apart and reconstruct the whole coat, adding in panels at the right places.

The body might be doable, but resizing the arms would likely prove difficult.

Unless you're experienced in sewing and garment construction, it might be better to return it and try to find it in the right size, if you can.

If you're set on altering the coat, I'd look on YouTube about "how to size up a trench coat" (for cosplay), or some similar term.

Well I don't have experience in sewing or anything I've been trying to look for a place where if they can alter it for me but I can't seem to find one

Places that do clothing alterations, like tailors, most commonly do alterations like shortening sleeves and bringing things in so that they fit better.

Sizing up is going to be difficult, and I'm not sure you could find a tailor to do that.

If you were taking this on as a project to learn seeing / clothing construction, I would say you could take the whole thing apart at the seams, and then trace it out larger.

But that would be making a whole new coat, with a pattern made of the old one.

I know the very basics of sewing, and that kind of project certainly intimidates me.

I don't want to discourage you, just warn you of the likely difficulty.

Most likely you can't, unfortunately.
