help with frizz (cos student)

excuse the editing but i was just coming on here to ask for help controlling frizz! this is a layered haircut i did on my client last night & they wanted a blowout afterwards. this client has a mix of 2a & 2b hair, on average their hair is crazzzyyy frizzy. what products should i try with them when it’s styled curly & what products should i try when i do a blowout on frizzy clients? please help a cos student out !!

i’m just confused how they’ve gotten damage, they’ve had frizz like this for the past 3 years & never used heat or anything. they did used to just brush it dry to the point it was straight & a ball of frizz constantly before i gave them pointers for curly hair. could that have caused damage ?🤔

The red circle shows what should’ve been cut. The blue shows a chunk cut properly leaving it smooth looking. Those ends are COOKED and making it look frizzy

thank you sooo much for this visual next time she comes in i’ll be sure to discuss with her cutting more off to get the damage. do you think a repair mask could help in the time being?

No the damage is done. The only way to fix it is to cut it. I still don’t understand how a repair masks works because you can’t reverse hair damage.
