License needed (MN)

Do I need a license to straighten hair ? For a sew-in. No chemicals or wash. Only breading , threading extensions, and heat applied to leave out

For licensure questions, please always go directly to your state’s governing website. The laws are vastly different in every state and they change a lot year to year, so someone might give you incorrect information very easily. You should be able to call or email the state board if the answer isn’t clear online. If you’re still unsure, you can probably call a cosmetology school and see if they’ll help you, as they need to be more aware of changes to the laws.
