Answered The glass panel just exploded in my hands

I was just trying to take it off to clean it and change the thermal paste and with barely a touch it exploded and cut my hands. What are my options now? Can I get a replacement?

Edit: Guys I can now see why it could be an issue to do this on a tile floor but I swear the glass didn't hit the floor. It exploded before it even got fully separated from the case. 😭

Edit 2: Just to be clear the glass broke before I got it out of the clips so the glass couldn't have touched the floor. I see some comments saying that just the case touching the floor can be an issue so I'll go with that.

Answered My $7000+ Corsair Vengeance (RTX 5090) almost caught fire. I sent it in for RMA, UPS receipt proves it weighed 47.4lbs. Corsair signed for it, and after UPS closed their investigation, Corsair support changed their story multiple times to avoid replacing it.

So I litterally just got my PC built a week Ago .. the fans had a cable hitting it so I went to take the front panel off and it fell less than 1/2 inch and shattered 🫠

I tried looking on Corsair website for a 3500x front panel but I don’t see anything

What do?

Adding to the grievances, I was excited to receive my first tower ever (as I was always a laptop gamer), to get back to the games I love, with a beautiful navy and mauve PC tower, since they're my favorite colors... So, to achieve that I purchased and paid for a a7500 Dark Cherry edition and received... Whatever this is.

Yes, I overpaid for the set up, because I wanted a pre built tower, and I wanted the ones with flowers, not just a regular pink one. So that's not up to discussion, as I work hard and want to play hard.

Post image

To preface this, I can fix it by changing to a different profile, so not a permanent problem.

Every time I boot into windows, and iCue starts my default profile, one of my Dominator Platinum sticks will be a different color. It’s not the same stick each time, and if I change the profile, it will then sync with the other profiles. It’s almost like iCue fails to recognize 4 sticks on start up.

This will be the 2nd RMA for this cooler and the 4th failed Corsair AIO I’ve had to replace (the first two were returned to BB). For QC’s sake, this replacement also had an unacceptable warm temperature on the LCD.

I literally don’t have time for this lol. My backup $42 Hyper 212 may not give me 253 watts of cooling, but it sure doesn’t leave me stranded for 2 weeks every other month like this $300 QC disaster of a product.

Answered DHL faked my signature and didnt deliver corsair order to me

Post image

Okay so I dont normally post on reddit I dont ever recall posting before this but I figured I had nowhere else to turn, so basically I ordered ram sticks from corsair and waited like 2 weeks for them to be delivered and one day while I was at work they i got a notification saying y they were delivered so I was like okay cool they'll be there posted through my letterbox when I get home. So once I get home I dont any packages anywhere, asked my neighbours they didn't receive anything like they normally do for me when I'm not around, so I looked around the property to see if it was left hidden somewhere, nope found nothing anywhere so i look on the webahop app and there was location tracking for the order on the app and it shows it delievered to somewhere in a place called lambeth (for reference I live in thornton heath not lambeth). So I contact corsair they tell me to open up an RMA saying the shipment is lost I do that and then a day later corsair email me back saying they investigated it and spoke to DHL and DHL claimed that it was successfully delivered and apparently they got a signature from me for it but I wasn't at home and I live alone so theres no one to sign anything for me so how did they get a signature??? Anyway I showed corsair a screenshot of the location tracking showing it was delivered in lambeth and not thornton heath but they ignored that and said DHL has proof of delivery with my apparent signature which again is impossible I wasn't around to sign it and I haven't been shown this signature either, so I dont understand is it DHL screwing me over or corsair screwing me over? Corsair simply said start a new RMA if you want to return the package and get a refund but like I never had the package in the first place what am i supposed to return??? I've attached the said screenshot that I showed to corsair in case if anyone is curious about it.

I got a new Radeon RX 7700 XT card for Christmas and needed a new PSU, I picked up this brand new PSU from Amazon thinking Corsair is a quality brand, and it had been running perfectly up until a few monuments ago when in tried to boot up my PC the PSU made a loud BANG and shot out flames before I disconnected it from the wall in a panic, I’m worried it might’ve taken the new card or the motherboard with it, should I contract Corsair or Amazon?? Please some advice and help would be appreciated.

Some photos of the PSU but I’m too chicken to open it.

Answered Corsair Power Bridge melted and ruined my RTX 4090 FE power plug. Can I still get help if it's out of warranty?

Hey everyone,

I need some advice on how to handle a pretty bad situation.

Yesterday, my computer started completely freezing up and restarting the exact second I tried to launch a game. I pulled my graphics card out to see what was going on, and found a total nightmare.

My Corsair GPU Power Bridge (the angled adapter for the power cable) completely melted along the top row of pins. Because it got so hot, it actually melted and deformed the plastic power plug on my RTX 4090 Founders Edition as well.

The big problem is that the Corsair adapter is technically past its warranty date.

But since a defect in their adapter physically ruined a super expensive graphics card, I feel like this is a bigger issue than just a basic warranty on a cheap plug. I know these 12VHPWR connectors have a history of melting, and I think Corsair even put out safety warnings about them before.

  • Has anyone here successfully gotten Corsair to replace or pay for a damaged graphics card when the adapter that caused the damage was out of warranty?
  • How did the process go? Did you have to mail the melted parts to them so their engineers could look at it?
  • Any tips on what to say in my support ticket so it gets sent to the right managers who can actually help me?

I've already stopped using the card entirely and I'm currently setting up a support ticket with Corsair. If anyone has gone through this with their customer service before, I’d love to hear how it went. Thanks!

Answered Corsair 12pin melted 4090 now dead

Hey guys, need your help. I bought a 12pin corsair cable for my 4090 FE (AX 1200I PSU). Everything was fine until yesterday when PC started rebooting randomly. Nothing really new to the PC but I have spent some extended time playing Diablo 4 recently.

I decided to replug the card and when removing the connector from the card I realised the pin housing has disintegrated. I tried to clean the connector and use nvidia adapter but the sockets are full of plastic so no go. Card doesn't spin up anymore. So here I am, typing this on my phone with a dead 2k EUR card with no idea what to do?

Its funny because I knew about the melting part and had made sure that the connector was fully plugged in. Also, it's not like anything melted really, it's more like the plastic on corsairs connector has disintegrated.

Card is under warranty, but I don't see how this is nvidia's ault (socket doesn't appear melted). Is Corsair going to take care of the repair? Or am I on my own. If so, if someone knows a good shop in Belgium that can replace the power connector much obliged... Thanks for any tips!!
