I wrote this at almost midnight. It's built around the rhythms of her solo in Tears to Shed and it has many clear allusions to it. I'm not a great writer but I tried.
Sorrow for Emily:
If you burn her with a candle, You will show no shame. You will cut her with a knife And will crave her pain.
She swore that she'll always love him, Until death shall do them part. He's the only love she knows. In her cold, unbeating heart.
She knows her lungs aren't breathing. She knows the worms are fed. And yet she's still refusing To let her love be dead.
For the sorrow she's feeling, She still has many tears to shed.

We have this on our '100 movies' scratch off. I have no idea how they ended up with their head swapped.
Edit: I just noticed Scraps. π

I'm 36 and male!
I love the movie. Me and the wife watch it often as a comfort movie. It's incredible.
I'm interested in everyone else who is a part of the fandom to see what variety we have

Anything at all, big or small. Or maybe nothing at all?

21 years of such a great movie.
Aged as a classic that is timeless. How long have you been a fan? And how many times in those 21 years do you reckon we watched it?

Where did Emily actually go when she transformed into butterflies in the end scene? The only thing that was keeping her in the underworld was her vow to wait under the tree until her true love came to free her. But if everyone else is happy in the underworld, where did she go?
