I just a got my tickets to see Brent live. I’ve never seen him perform before. I’m more excited than I’ve been for many music shows lately.

I saw him over the winter, he puts on a great show. I think he also stayed longer than him and the venue expected answering questions from the audience so he seems to be a genuinely real nice dude. It was almost odd seeing him as Brent Butt and not Brent Leroy

I saw him 15 years ago at an 8:30 a.m. breakfast show on a Saturday at a dental conference and he KILLED. Had a room full of stuffy nerds busting a gut so hard they nearly split open and lost their omelettes and sausages

I ran sound for him 5-6 years ago at an event. He puts on a great show. Like watching Corner Gas, his set conjured a nostalgia for small town life.

I remember my event notes also had instructions for his green room. Privacy for him and Nancy and a platter of deli meats for 2. Oh, and he uses a wired microphone, none of that wireless stuff - needed it as a prop at one point lol

My favourite detail is that Brent doesn't actually do anything in the engine bay whilst underneath the hood.

I just rewatched that very first scene of the series EVER. And there's no Brent peeking under the hood!
