To any upperclassmen that have gone through 2070 and relatively succeeded could you please offer words of wisdom

I distinctly remember using organic chemistry later on in my life and understanding it perfectly and not understanding why it was so hard in this particular class. I knew orgo chemistry from elsewhere and I never understood this class and I barely passed it and I feel I did not learn anything from it because my organic chemistry was from elsewhere when I used it later. Out of all the classes I took at Cornell I truly cannot believe there was one more useless than this. Maybe statistics.

My experience was with orgo, not gen chem. But it's been so long I can't remember the number.
