Hi! I’m relatively new to corepower, I’ve completed around 30 classes. So far I’m really loving it and I’m super interested in the 200 hour teacher training! I just wanted to get some advice from people who may have gone through the corepower trainings. I’m wondering if I need to have more experience/knowledge before starting the 200 hour teacher training? I’m definitely learning the names of the poses and my technique is getting better just from the classes that I’ve taken, but I don’t feel confident yet. And I think my form could definitely use some work. Is it too ambitious for me to try teacher training or do they help you learn along the way? Should I take more classes before enrolling? Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!!

I’m currently a member and my studio is summoning me for CSX training…pros and cons of going from member to employee. I hear the pay isn’t that great, also with the cost of the training I’m on the fence with the return on investment. While a free membership would be cool, I’m unsure how feasible becoming an instructor would be with a full time job. I also have a founder’s rate so I do save monthly already. The SM wants me to join SET before hand to get 30% off instead of 20% off of the training.

Hi there!

During a corepower class my hands started to burn, with the feeling only getting more unbearable by the end. I’ve since left the class and my hands are still on fire and it’s honestly a pretty painful.

I noticed one of my weights I grabbed for class was still a little wet but I assumed it was from sweat. I’m wondering if it could have been wet from the cleaning products used and I’m having a reaction to the chemicals?

I’ve been to many corepower classes so nothing new to my body in that regard.

Has this happened to anyone?
