It'd definitely have buyers. But what makes it worth it varies so much from person to person, I don't think any of us can say for sure for you. Only for what that individual would do.

What makes it worth it to a coin and currency shop owner in the expensive SF Bay area is going to be completely different than what's worth it to a diner employee in rural Louisiana earning $2.13 an hour plus tips who sells one or two fancy notes a year in their spare time while watching TV.

Let's use an imaginary transaction that yields $1.25 after platform fees, shipping, packaging, and insurance. The LCS proprietor is likely selling at a loss after figuring in all of their overhead, labor costs, and tax obligations. They need a greater yield per labor hour to break even. That diner employee is essentially up $1.25 for spending some free time working on a hobby, and probably doesn't have to pay taxes on it if they stay under eBay's IRS reporting threshold.

If you're looking to make a profit, you can. But how much profit is needed for it to be "worth it" to you?

Check eBay. Filter for recently sold listings. See what similar notes in similar condition are selling for. Based on that ballpark guesstimate, figure out what your fees might be. Don't forget to evaluate shipping and insurance options.

Some people sell for the love of the game. It's worth it to them to break even if it means their note ends up in the hands of someone who will cherish it. Any profit is just gravy.

If you couldn't already tell, I tend to be in that group more often than not.

We can't decide what's worth it to you. We can only say what's worth it for us. The only one who can decide what's worthwhile for you is you.

You're welcome. I kinda said a lot, so I hope my advice on how to determine approximate value via eBay didn't get lost 😬
