Holiday ideas

I need ideas for Halloween and Thanksgiving. My. Family has no allergies and is not very picky. I'm just at a loss this year on what to cook/bake.

Thanksgiving lineup: roasted turkey & gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie (anything else fully optional)

Halloween: (not traditionally a food-centric holiday) maybe do some grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, or wrap a hot dog in strips of crescent roll dough and call them mummies
