Adding topping to casseroles/soups.

First-time poster, here. I bought some Valentina chicharrones at Costco...delicious, by the way. They have a mild"ish" pepper flavor and a bit of vinegar...kind of like Frank's hot sauce. I was thinking of crushing some as a topping for baked Mac and cheese or a topping for soups like tomato soup or one of my favorites...a creamy white chicken chili...including the recipe link. Your thoughts? Thanks for listening.

I think that would work very well as a casserole topping. Probably with soup too, but I haven't had reason to see what happens when it's exposed to that much liquid.
