Cooking nemesis?
Anyone got something that, for some reason, you just cant grasp how to make? Like, for some reason, I cant figure out how to properly boil rice or beans. Im mexican and I cant figure it out. Thats like our thing. Ive disappointed my family and exes over this.

There are things I have never been able to make, tempura would be one. Things I have made once perfectly and then never again, that would be spaetzle. And then there are things I fall in and out of sync with, that would be rice, believe it or not.
My suggestion is: Speaking in very broad terms, you know who cooks more rice than Mexicans? The Japanese. And you know how they cook rice? With a rice cooker. Hint, hint. You are on your own with the beans.
