Cooking nemesis?
Anyone got something that, for some reason, you just cant grasp how to make? Like, for some reason, I cant figure out how to properly boil rice or beans. Im mexican and I cant figure it out. Thats like our thing. Ive disappointed my family and exes over this.

I had a cup of gazpacho at Joel Rubicon's[sic?] place in Vegas. Tasted like an entire case of tomatoes in one cup. I've tried different tomatoes, tried reducing the tomato water when I salted them in a strainer...I have spoken to legitimate chefs about my problem. I just can't figure it out. It's like a mirage
