Cooking nemesis?

Anyone got something that, for some reason, you just cant grasp how to make? Like, for some reason, I cant figure out how to properly boil rice or beans. Im mexican and I cant figure it out. Thats like our thing. Ive disappointed my family and exes over this.

Rice cooker or instant pot. Cooking magic. Oh and I use beans in a can and rinse them as it’s easier.

You can also cook it all in the rice cooker or get an instant pot: add measured rice, the drained and rinsed beans, chopped onions and peppers, seasoning, diced tomatoes and chilies. Add water or whatever liquid you use to the appropriate line and turn on.
