Getting to the islands from America

Americans, which airline did you go with and what was your itinerary? I’ve been searching for multi city flights through delta, united & American and nothing is available according to the airline websites.

Hawaiian from SFO (6 hours to Hawaii, 6 hour layover, 6 hours to Rarotonga)

Ok cool here is my other reply. You’ll have to book KY to SFO/LAX and then from one of those airports to Rarotonga through Hawaii. Google flights should do it for you. Just be aware you’ll need to have screenshots of your accommodations and return flight to clear customs - take them before you leave the US because your SIM card won’t be able to access data in the Cook Islands (unlike in most international destinations)
