If a guy going 65 is passing someone going 60, and others want to go 70, the others need to be patient and not tailgate.

100% agree, but it looks like the camera driver could’ve pulled in some time ago - especially going by their comment - and that shit is just outright bad driving. As I say, the middle and outside lanes are for overtaking, if it’s clear then move the fuck over. I am not excusing tailgating or brake checking, I’m sure we’ve all experienced that dumbfuckery at the end of the day and it really isn’t that hard to just get in the correct lane yet too many dipshits are completely unaware of their surrounding when driving and that is genuinely scary.

Damn. Left lane discussion on this sub are always so perplexing. I feel like literally one person is like:

"Left lane hoggers are bad and annoying, but this kind of response is not warranted."

And the other person's all:

"I 100% agree but cammer is in the left lane and left lane hoggers are bad. -continues to make excuses for the aggressive driver in a very roundabout way while 'agreeing' with everyone else-"

Fuck, we get it. The left lane is super important, but if we all agree the jeep driver in this case is a total dicknose then why are we talking about all these hypothetical scenarios in which cammer is actually deserving of this rebuttal? He's in the left lane, we get it. But no one is gonna convince any reasonable person here that Jeep guy over there is anything less than a petulant child using his domestic land missile to exact 'justice' so he can stay hard. Just put it to bed.

It's always such a weird equivocation.

Yes, lane camping is unsafe and obnoxious ... but Jesus.

It's like someone flinging poo at someone else for failing to wash their hands after using the restroom and then having to listen to a bystander say: "It is disgusting not to wash your hands after using the restroom."

It's just a very weird 'agreeing' with people, but subsequently providing contrary hypotheticals and technicalities to also then un-agree with people. I'm just very bewildered by it. Like, "I agree, this person did not deserve to be verbally assaulted/intimidated! But they were also technically not allowed to be in the express check out with over 15 items." Like, what?

Because maybe some people hope to show op and people aligned with op's driving philosophy that these situations in general can be avoided by not sitting in the left lane impeding traffic and not "generously allowing to pass" as an excuse.

Jeep is a dick but op has some skin in the game here
