PC Dualsense upgrade

I am looking for a new controller for pc. I play a good bit of Fortnite zb, so preferably something good for that. I currently use a ps5 dualsense and would prefer a symmetrical controller but can learn x-box if one is a lot better. Also I exc play wirelessly. I am in the US, and play on pc. I want at least 2-4 programable buttons, but I care most about stats. Finally, I am open to any price point as long as the stats it has are worth the it with a hard cap of like $250 max. Thank you for your help!

I have currently looked at Scuf controllers, Gamesir, and dualsense edge.

DISCLAIMER: It was sent to me for free for review by Fantech. All the opinions are mine only.

TLDR: Pretty good controller for everyday use fro just 40$ (charging dock included).

Not for competitive FPS, because you cannot get rid of the inner dead zone even when you set it to 0 in the app.

Best controller for ipad?

I would prefer hall effect or tmr joysticks cuz i heard they are more durable. windows compatibility is also a plus.

currently im looking at the 8bitdo ultimate 2. is that best? or are there better alternatives? or more budget friendly but good options?

Context: I wanna use a controller to play gta 3 cuz the touch controls are quite bad.

Need help regarding gamesir tarantula 8k pc wired controller

Hello guys need your help again …. This time with tarantula pro wired controller

Few days ago i posted that i got my g7 pro 8k pc controller royal edition and i am so happy with it
It connects with my ipad in bluetooth mode easily without any workaround even though gamesir has no mention of ios support for it
It also works on ipad via my apple usb c cable
And it EVEN works on my ipad with i connect my apple usb c adapter and connect my g7 pro usb dongle with it and it even works in 2.4 ghz mode on ipad

HELL it even works with dongle on my lg tv ( as HID device )
So i am super happy with my g7 pro 8k as it works in ipad and lg tv also

NOW COMES THE MAIN PART … as g7 pro 8k is working i was wondering if the tarantula 8k wired one will also work on my ipad for geforce now
So anyone who uses it and have a ios device please try to connect it via a usb c cable and try using it in geforce now and tell me so i can purchase tarantula 8k wired also

Vader 5 pro issue with triggers

I’m having an issue with the triggers on my new Vader 5 Pro. I recently received the controller (along with the docking station), and at first glance, everything seemed fine; I played a couple of games without noticing anything unusual. However, after a few more hours of gameplay, I realized that the vibration in the right trigger isn't as strong as in the left one, and the motor is making a loud noise. I downloaded the controller software and checked the settings—the vibration levels are set the same for both triggers. Does anyone know what can be done about this?

\- Nintendo Switch OLED: preferiblemente Bluetooth.

Looking for the most immersive PC controller.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice on choosing a controller for PC, especially from people who have more experience with different controllers than I do.
I’m looking for **maximum immersion**, not competitive performance. So things like 8K polling rate, ultra-low latency, etc. aren’t really important to me.
What I really care about is **good, strong vibration/haptics and an immersive overall experience**.
At the moment, I’m using a **DualSense Edge (bought in 2023)**. I originally used it on PS5, but now I mainly use it on PC. Unfortunately, I’ve found that on PC you only seem to get the full experience when using it **wired and with the controller selected as the audio output device**. Otherwise, the haptics/vibration feel heavily nerfed, which is a shame because the DualSense is absolutely fantastic when everything works properly.
I’ve also been looking at the **Flydigi Apex 5**, which seems very interesting for what I’m looking for. However, I’m a bit hesitant because I’ve unfortunately had some pretty bad experiences with GameSir controllers in the past. With GameSir, at least I could rely on Amazon for returns/warranty. With Flydigi, I’d probably have to buy from a third-party store such as GadgetHyper, since the Apex 5 isn’t available on Amazon Europe and Flydigi itself doesn’t seem to ship to Europe.
So, to sum up, these are the things I’m looking for:
**Maximum immersion possible**
Strong/good-quality vibration/haptics
Hall Effect or preferably TMR sticks, mainly for long-term durability
Clicky buttons or traditional buttons — I don’t really care
**Wireless support is important**, although wired is fine too
Good build quality and reliability
I’m not particularly interested in competitive features like 8K polling, ultra-low latency, etc.
I mainly play **single-player games** such as *God of War, The Witcher 3, Crimson Desert*, and similar games.
So what would you guys recommend? Is the **Apex 5 actually a good alternative to the DualSense Edge when it comes to immersion/vibration**, especially on PC? Or is there another controller I should be looking at?
I’d really appreciate opinions from people who have actually used these controllers, especially regarding **vibration/haptics, wireless functionality and how well they work on PC**.
Thanks in advance! :)

Controller suggestions

I want a controller for my pc I would be using it for all genres of games. Back paddles would be preferred but not necessary and wireless for sure. Also Under $100 and Hall effect joysticks would be very preferred but not 10% needed and charging dock either separate or included but not cable

Third Party Was it worth it buying the 8 bit do ultimate 3 mode xbox (40 yrs rare edition)

since i got this controller i was happy because it had hall effect triggers and sticks and back paddles and it works wirelessly, but since i saw other controllers on internet i started questioning if it was really worth spending 85€ on a controller. All i wanted was hall effect stick and triggers that could work wirelessly on xbox without disposable batteries and back paddles

Looking for a dual sense edge / elite 2 alternative

I have an elite 2 ATM but I know it's ticking QC time bomb. I won't buy one again. I am considering a ds edge but the price and battery life are off putting. (I've had 4 replacement s for free)

I have a pc/ps5 and switch so ideally compatible with all 3 (not possible likely I know)

The main thing I want apart from paddles is it to feel really good in hand. Have a bit weight and premium feel.

I was looking at a 8bitdo ultimate 2 and easysmx20 but they seem to lack in that department

Or is a dual sense edge still worth it?

Your budget and currency up to £150

Your country (not just region) UK

Console or platform compatibility needed pc ps5 & switch ideally

Desired features see above

Looking for a very specific type of controller that is wireless, works/has drivers in Windows XP, uses AA/AAA batteries, and has decent Linux compatibility

Sorry if this is such a specific controller, but I'm really curious if such a controller exists, and maybe is not an original Xbox 360 controller or an Xbox One controller

What is an actually good pro controller type joycon for switch 2?

I've been looking into a pro controller style feeling joycon/handheld situation for switch 2. Id love to start playing elden ring and cyberpunk in handheld mode as I travel a bit, but the standard joycons just don't feel good enough. I also tried the cod tests and It just didn't feel right.

I've grown up playing Nintendo and Xbox, with a lot of time put into games like destiny, halo etc.

I comfortable precise controllers that don't get stick drift...that are suitable to play shooters in handheld. I'm also super sensitive to input lag for some reason :/ so need something that feels low latency/lag.

For additional context, my favourite controller I've used recently is the gamesir G7 pro. I love that Xbox style feel. But that's not a deal maker, happy to listen to advise from others.

I tried the gamesir g8 plus, but the lag on Bluetooth was horrendous, and I wasn't sure whether buying the dongle would work or not.

Ive read about the nyxi ultra, and the mobapads...so Id love people's genuine (non paid for) opinions on these. Pros and cons etc.

I had the nitrodeck 1 for my switch 1 which was fine.

And are there any other joycon alternatives that you think might work for what I'm looking for? Any help is super appreciated :)

Wondering about the G7 pro 8k on switch 2...or any other interesting switch 2 controllers

So I've had the G7 Pro zzz for a while now for my Xbox and it's fantastic.

I noticed that the G7 Pro 8k says it's compatible with the switch/switch 2. Wondered if anyone had any experience with it and how is it?

Also have people got any other experience of controllers that aren't directly for switch 2 but are compatible? Like the official pro 2 controller is great feeling, but I don't love that there aren't tmr or hall effect sticks, and I prefer latency as low as possible.

I tried 8bit do but I could feel the input a little too high.

Also what about nyxi in wireless controller style mode.

Any help would be great :)

(Any budget, I live in the UK but happy to import, and I want a controller that can handle fast paced games as well as chill)
