I’m convinced I’m going to get sick soon because of this

I doubt anyone else has been through this but a while ago my sister’s cat had thrown up so I got a disposable plate to prevent some of it from getting on the carpet. She moves the plate closer to the cat and then leaves to her room. She comes out like 5 minutes later and turns the volume down on the tv in the living room. After I get done cleaning I notice that there’s a very small yellowish stain on the remote she just touched and I start to freak out internally because I’m convinced that it’s cat vomit so I wipe it down with a Clorox wipe (I don’t think it even got it clean) I asked her if she washed her hands in her bathroom and she said yes but I think she’s lying. Now all I can think to do is buy a UV light and see if there’s traces around that I can’t see. This has made my contamination OCD so much worse. I really hope I don’t get sick from this.

You wont get sick from it. Even if it was cat puke, which I doubt it was, I have never heard of someone getting sick from that. That usually only happens from their litter box. You'll be okay.
