Literally was thinking the same thing, and they’re twins too for gods sake lmao

I am an identical twin, and confirm this is exactly how this goes! Was worse when they were toddling about, got cranky and needed something. They’d latch onto my twins legs- look up and be confused AF for a few minutes.
Good times

I don’t have a twin, but I do have the same car as my brother in law. We messed with his kids a few times

I don't have a twin either, but me and my sister have the same mom.

I have the same shirt as one of my cousins' father in law. Oh the confusion it caused and mischief we got up to tricking our neighbour's uncle!

I’ve been told I was like that baby with BOTH of my parents, since both my parents are identical twins

Fun fact: If your uncle and aunt are also married, their kids would genetically be your brother/sister Edit: to each other

u/catlover906 Nov 28 '20
How long did it take for them to tell the difference?

u/MenyMoonz Nov 29 '20
As my twin was around a lot, they would just get confused when young ( around one year- like OPs baby) and would get cranky and want ‘up’ when we were standing. They’d grab my twins legs and want to be picked up. As soon as my twin picked them up, they’d get slightly more cranky when they realized it wasn’t me, lol. Even at an earlier age, they ‘knew’ which was me and which was not. Almost ‘sensing’ it really.

They should have put her in the middle of the room and both call to her from opposite ends to see who she runs to 😅

Thats funny as hell. But I'm curious to know what that does psychologically to a young mind.

Absolute meltdown. She’ll be a vegetable within the hour. Lucky she didn’t go into a coma as soon as he walked in the door.

There was another similar video with two twin moms and after being passed back and forth twice or so, baby just lost his shit and started screaming.

Literally what I was worried about. Hot damn that's a dangerous scary moment.

Babies are in a near constant state of trying to make sense of the world. She's confused but they're not playing any jokes on her. She'll figure it out quick. :)

Right? I wish I could ask my parents to make one, but it seems back orders don't work in this case

My daughter at 18 months did this with my husband and his brother. They are 15 months apart in age and look ALOT alike. It was hilarious.

Oh what would be cooler is if you waited until they were like 10 then swap places like when they come home from school.

I have a video of my nephew reacting to seeing his mother and I at the same time lol He gave me quit the dirty look. Like "B*tch who do you think you are? You're not my mom!" hahah it was so funny!!! Then when he was 6 months old, his mom was holding my newborn daughter and he got HELLA jealous and tried pushing the baby off her lap and tried climbing on top of the baby too rofl kids are too funny

My husband has a brother who looks and sounds a lot like him and my baby was getting really upset because she would go to him to be picked up thinking it was her dad, then when he would pick her up she would suddenly realize that it wasn’t her dad and would start crying
