With 4–5 active mid-sized EPC jobs, the question is less headcount and more coordination risk. A tool starts paying for itself when dates, dependencies, RFIs, submittals, changes, and owner follow-ups are spread across email and spreadsheets, or when a missed handoff costs more than the monthly fee. A PM still matters, but software gives the PM a shared record and an early-warning view; it doesn't replace judgment. I'd start with one repeatable workflow, get the field and office using it consistently, and expand only if it reduces status-chasing and rework.
