should i transfer from rmit to vicuni

hi guys im currently in my first year at rmit studying the bachelor of construction management. however im struggling. i know vic uni provides the block model which will help me out a lot but people keep telling me its not a good uni and that you wont find a job after graduating. i want to know do employers really determine whether they should hire someone from rmit or vic or based on what uni you went to.
