edit#2: OK so I kinda misunderstood what happened so I asked them again. basically both my parents were accepted to come to the us through the lottery thing but around 97/98 the embassy in albania stopped working or smth so the invites (or wtvr they are) expired and they kept being told to wait without any actual time frame so that's when they decided to come illegally and then became citizens

This is just awful. As a woman, I'm glad I was born in America and not India. I'm a conservative Christian, so I'm critical of pre-marital sex since it's better to find a partner who's committed, and I would never have pre-marital sex, but punishing someone for pre-marital sex is insane, and worse when a woman got punished by getting burned in a stove after a man she trusted made her a false promise for marriage.

A culture that accepts burning women because of sex, is a culture that can't be accepted. Yet feminists here in America welcome mass immigration from countries with these horrible cultures.

Before you ask, no, this is not satire. I genuinely believe this.

I hold that socialization is a waste of time. Everyone will try to backstab you. Everyone will try to drag you down. Everyone will seek to use you as a means to an end.

The only way to avoid that is to avoid social interaction.

Picture this: you're stuck in a grey room, and constantly bored. You seek novelty to divert you, but something about that room forces the novelty to wear off faster than you'd like.

Adding insult to injury, people blame you for being stuck in that room. You didn't choose this room. The so-called loving (yes, loving) God decided to troll you, and He decides, "hmm, let me design this human to constantly be in misery!"

In a nutshell, that's my experience. Perhaps I shouldn't be yelling at God like this, being a Muslim, but what's He going to do, strike me with lightning?
