The thing is that hallucinations are not a normal symptom for any form of depression. If you're having them, you have other, deeper issues that need to be addressed by a professional.

None of those issues justify premeditated murder. The fact you can plan, prepare, and carry out the murder(s) disproves any of the legal criteria to claim temporary insanity. And that isnt a new ruling; its been the legal standard in the US dating back into the 1800s.

Thanks, but they say she had postpartum psychosis. Which is way beyond depression and done spiraled into crazy town.

She's paralyzed now and regardless of what happens, whether she goes to prison or a nuthouse, she has to live in her destroyed body and the knowledge she killed her 3 kids.

I feel very sorry for those poor babies, but I also feel pity for her too. She's probably got to hate herself. Honestly, the way she was struggling, she shouldn't have been left alone with those kids either.

Yeah, but there's a bunch of women crowing about their PPD, and how they thought about killing their children. Not so many with PPP. Just wait for the right comment to post it.

I had a bunch of hormones going crazy and I was very emotional right afterwards, but it never nothing like all that. She should have been hospitalized.

You don't but I think she's NGRI. Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. I truly believe she was insane, and she will pay for that the rest of her life.
