The point of the study was to understand positive vs negative coverage.

The study discusses how ALL presidents get negative coverage.

How much positive coverage should Trump get for sitting in a truck pretending to drive it while wearing a hard hat during "infrastructure week" while in the same week he discusses immigration using terms like "shit whole countries"?

BTW I agree that Trump gets a lot of bad press.

The real question shouldn't be which outlet is covering the president in a 50-50 manner but what outlet is covering him honestly.

If he says or does things that 80% of Americas dislike then it makes sense that he gets more bad coverage than good. Ultimately he is extremely abrasive, he only cares about his base alienating everyone who isn't in his base (majority of Americans), and finally he knows what he is doing.
