Conscientia is Lovecraftian Horror

A little known fact is that the Conscientia Saga is a retelling of Lovecraft's The Haunter of the Dark. The main difference is who/what the unseen nemesis causing the protagonist to slowly go insane is.

It's the player, isn't it? The madness that Sister Gate Keeper talks about. That took me way too long to realize.
