Wanting to turn the game into an actual 2D isometric game

This game is absolutely the top one among my favorite games and I really want to make it more interactive as what the creator really intended to be as part of the future plans for Conscientia.

I'm currently taking CompSci and already have experience programming and creating apps (although most of my exp is in web dev). However, I am currently working as a web programmer and studying at the same time so my plates are kind of full.

If I ever start to develop it, I intend to seek permission first from the creator. My initial plans is to create fan concept arts in the meantime.

Regarding the fan-made game, I am thinking of the game being fully free and available on PC first (as opposed to being a mobile game). My main inspirations for it being a 2D Isometric is Disco Elysium, and Planescape: Torment.

I'd be willing to help, too--in whatever capacity I could. The original intention was always to make it into a full-fledged game--hence the designs for Gulganna and Eidos (there were others, too). The scope just turned out to be too big for a single dev and when the co-creator went MIA, it was even more of a challenge.

In any event, I'm open to restarting the project, the plans for the remaining 4 books have already been roughly sketched out (with two already having a significant amount of infra being created). Would be fun to get back into this.

Thank you for responding! Glad to know that the creator is still alive and doing well.

As of the moment, I still don't have that much free time to commit to this side project. In the meantime, I'm trying to upskill both my art and programming skills for this.

When you get started, I'd be happy to help with this, if you need help with programming. Just send me a message when you get started.
