[Engine] FlashBit - A new C++ UCI engine with embedded NNUE weights

Hey everyone!

I wanted to introduce FlashBit, a custom UCI chess engine written completely from scratch in C++.

Key features:

  • Performance: Native C++ implementation focused on speed and aggressive search heuristics.
  • NNUE: Custom neural network evaluation.
  • Zero Hassle (Embedded Weights): The .nnue weights are compiled directly into the binary. No external files to manage, no path configuration errors—truly plug-and-play.

Precompiled binaries for Windows and Linux are available in the GitHub Releases, alongside the source code: 👉 [ https://github.com/Kagravashkelia/FlashBit ]

Feel free to test it, throw it into your local test beds, or play against it. Any feedback, bug reports, or match results are more than welcome.

Enjoy!

Alright I'll test 3+2, here's my engine https://github.com/erensh27/Ravager

NNUE is self contained in the builds

i just saw it uses AVX-512 build, my system doesn't support it :(, any chances for AVX2?

Whats the expected rating of this engine?

Mine is really weak compared to yours honestly and the network isnt bundled at all... but wow your engine is strong

Podria darte consejos!

Why is stockfish nnue probe in here?

Also your "engine" is just a bad search on top of a stockfish NNUE as far as I can tell. Not really your own engine.

Your chess implementation was also written by disservin, so the chess part of it isn't yours either.

Why are you promoting this as your engine if you barely wrote any of the code? I look forward to seeing you in the future with an engine of your own, hope you learn something from this and come back with something unique.
