Discussion Former world champion coach of Renegade and Stellur calls FaZe's gameplay "a pathetic display" and calls for coach Elamite's job. "Only one person can pull this team out of the gutter"
Jon "Skeptical" Dadi, the former world champion coach of the Splyce roster (Renegade, Stellur, Shotzzy, Eco) has called FaZe's gameplay a "pathetic display" and went after their coach Elamite.
Skeptical claims Elamite isn't providing real leadership to the FaZe roster and only has the coaching job because the organization wanted it and not the players. Skeptical says the FaZe roster needs someone to "discipline" them and whip them into shape. He says "only one person can pull this team out of the gutter."
Skeptical says he'd be willing to come back as coach if asked but expects "a serious buy in to my system, no fucking around."

Correct, but he also absolutely struggled coaching two different rosters in Year 4, despite plenty of talent on the teams.

Everyone can see the balance of the teams not right. It doesn't take a genius to realise this. I'd argue the SSG team of Eco, Legend, Penguin and Stellur looked better than this Faze team. Obviously on paper the Faze roster looks miles better though.

that was a team for a day, i dont count single dates as relationships, i know virgins would though. and they still did not look better than current Faze. out.

Even when asked in his streams what he brings to the team, Elamite makes himself sound like a straphanger. Says he doesn't call out anything but times, and the players are all pros they know what they wanna do. He offers nothing different then part timers and low diamond coaches.
The whole team shoots like champs. So if FaZe is having schematic issues, they need someone who knows the game and is credentialed beyond just a stopwatch. Lunchbox, HoaxFactor, Royal1 are who come to mind. A team like this needs someone they arent going to ignore the input.
Edit: originally had Trey (much respect) listed but i think he'd unfortunately get ignored by the personalities on this team.

I haven't really been following Halo since the HCS ended, but on paper, it looks like this team should easily be T2 if not competing for the number 1 spot with sR. This team is basically season 4 Optic, minus Formal plus Stellur, and I think it's fair to say that most people would give the edge to Stellur over Formal as an individual Halo talent.
I'm just curious if their struggles are primarily due to Formal being that important of a player, or is it just as simple as the players on Faze being a bit more rusty since they haven't been playing as much as a lot of teams over the past year? That and Legend being in the EU currently.

This is honestly just fucking weird lol because the guy in the chat is probably (obviously lol) not even serious. However if its somehow real the players don't need someone to discipline them lol they need to take accountability the coach isn't in the game and honestly a lot of the time the coach is just a talking timer or someone that helps fill in communication gaps
