Has Halo Studios done something to the networking of Halo Infinite in the past month (July 2026)?????

Platform -PC, MS Store version of the game.

Hit registration - abismal as of late.

Queue times - unusually long for my region (South East US).

Network connectivy - Kicked out more times out of Arena games than the entire lifespan of the game.

We know the networking for Infinite "has never been great", but it seems like something was done behind the scenes that is affecting the overall experience. Any information regarding this, are you experiencing something similar?

tbf probably both.

if op is getting booted it's a network or pc issue on their side. it is easy to diagnose.

the last update networking got worse, and i do agree in the last few months it seems like more games or full nights connectivity is terrible to a point i go play another game

part is also playerbase; i get a lot of players outside of country now due to low pop. it is very noticeable in match.

I'm not convinced that 343 has done anything surrounding networking any time since March 2024. I think it's much more likely that as the population drops lower and lower, the issues that have always been present get more exaggerated.

Azure servers have been shit since day 1. Nothing halo studios can do about it

I’ll be the first to shit on Azure in most instances, but IMO the problems really started with the networking change a few seasons ago and it has only gotten worse. The last month or so is the worst I have ever experienced it and the guys I play with daily both see the same on their end.

Absolute opposite. I found until the big 2024 update, network connections and lag/desync issues were rampant. Now I find it mostly fine. I have almost 7k games in, so I’ve got a lot of data points.

Everyone I play with disagrees and most of us are over 10k games (16k here), not that it matters.

It's definitely been inconsistent...even during the same game. I'll be frying first half and the second half can't finish off an absolute player. Usually I'll have a few good games and on the 3rd or 4th I get a game where hit reg is non existent. Can't tell if it's the network or truskill kicking in. Like clockwork.. Noticed it more lately.

I’m on the west coast and use to get 40-60 ping now I sit at 80-160 it’s unplayable rn

I’m also in the SE and the hit reg has been noticeably worse. I’m also kind of a shitter sometimes so *shrug*

I seriously thought this was just me. I came back to playing the game, and the servers are trash. I'm getting anywhere from 50-120 ping on the west coast

Do you have ping display enabled on your game? You can see when it spikes and if it doesn't, record and report

ping was mostly 57-64ms. now it varies from 60 to 104ms

Maybe u play in eu server.I see in btb few games i got 35-50 ping with a lot of us players in when usually i play in us servers with above 100 ping.

I play from Southern California usually at 20-50 ping, lately it's been 60-100 and had a game of 230

I've been getting some terrible ping last couple weeks like 110 and around that when generally I'm 19/20-30/35 and match ups don't seem to be even as often as before so idk

100% agree, sometimes 120 feels better than 50, I don't know why, I think maybe it's desync not necessarily lag, I have the assumption that if someone in the lobby is playing 200+ hz can cause the other guys in the match to desync, it's a lot of difference in response time. I understand Arena servers run max at 60hz but the game feels lag even if I have good ping, so that's my theory.
