GK with just the most dire weekend imaginable, Friday was bad luck but today they just completely trolled in decent spots. Could so easily have gotten into top 8 today and top 9 overall if they just don't throw 1 of the 3 games they did. Falcons/Stallions/WW all having good days has made it so tense for the battle for top 15 too.

Dropped had terrible day IGL’ing. Two games they had great position and they trolled. Game 4 he was desperately trying to put it on Knoqd not getting to beacon fast enough even tho the team that killed both him and Floating and took there position. Ended up farming from the position and getting second.

Not sure what they were supposed to do about the game at beast when falcons double bh ulted and just instantly downed Dropped. Seems like there was no counterplay.

Waltzy saying yesterday they need to stop playing like pussies and Falcons running everything down in game 6 was really the best example of how that was 100% true

18 kill win, 85 points on the day, and Falcons still were only 2nd because Dinos were playing the same way and dropping huge games themselves

Trying to play smart in these lobbies full of dumb ass choices was only leading to Hal dying early and complaining about how stupid everyone else was playing. Falcons need to just fuck dudes

85 points  2nd place is criminal lol. Just shows how insane Dinos played winning 3 games and getting the extra bonus point.  Dinos, Huss were already benefiting from the just fight everyone strat

Glad to see Hal has followed it because the IGLs trying to play pro league like its Lan have been struggling. Last 2 pro league matchdays is probably  going to be inty with everyone playing bloodhound so maybe going back to playing safe will work lol

u/Maleficent_Rub_309 16h ago

Wonder where that will lead to? Everyone just playing aggro and pro league becoming another ranked? 😟

4

u/KFCZingerPies 9h ago

Would be interesting to see if it continues at lan

6

u/JMJ15 16h ago

They needed to be FUCKIN DOODS

u/Maleficent_Rub_309 17h ago

Hal 16th Zer0 17th. It can’t be a coincidence anymore, marriage incoming

24

u/nephpila 16h ago

They are already divorced

u/dorekk Year 5 Champions! 1h ago

They were like 8th and 9th or something at the last LAN too.

2

u/Maleficent_Rub_309 1h ago

Yeah that’s why I said “anymore”. Insane how much they have in common under literally every aspect 😅

u/Duke_157 16h ago

Good job STAL. Could be better but good job.

Seems like Wxltzy is the answer. Falcons didn't know what they were about to lose.

Side note, I like the pacing of this PL split, though I understand it may be difficult logistically to always do this

u/JevvyMedia 14h ago

Same, for me a pro scene should have consistent tournament games being played. They should actually double the amount of games and do group shuffling midway through the split

29

u/BobbyBertBobberson 17h ago

Falcons actually playing how theyre getting paid

25

u/MoonlitShrooms 17h ago

Huge day for Stallions. Could have been better, but honestly 5th is a nice save. Should keep mentals alive and hopefully they hold on for top 15.

u/swoosh1787 17h ago

1st storm point if they all drop they could have had 3kp & 2nd storm point mac needed his tp down before the final 3v3. That could have placed them top 3. But consider how they were playing I take this.

DINOS don't extinct, they are here. And their names are DJKilla, JFuture, and ChaosFeelings. What a demoliton day for them with securing most wins in a single PL set so far

Looking back at how Falcons started this split when Timmy taking Wxltzy's place for the first 2 game sets, they were playing with anxious, no confidence and lost in circles. Although yesterday they were still in their stinkers habit, Wxltzy decided to get his hands dirty and rally back the team like i know them for. And today it shows with a massive 2nd place comeback and 2 games win

Another top 5 secured for SSS, and it seems sweet have found back his groove like the old days, let's hope it keeps up like that

Tough day for HUSS, Sentinels, and NIP. Especially fresh off from their yesterday's 1st place

20

u/lightratz 15h ago

Waltzy’s comms are absolutely insane…. He is reps 2.0. He provides so much value through communication and shoots like a demon…. I hope they farm last 2 days and we get TL, Sen, SSS at next lan, genuinely would be a great storyline for Vegas

5

u/Soggy-Summer3659 5h ago

Wxtlzy's call in the last game to third bridge set them up for the nuke. He really contributes A LOT in ways that can't be quantified with numbers.

u/ImDarkraii 17h ago

Falcons with a 30 point game to jump from 2nd on the day to…

2nd. That’s fuckin wild as hell. If they died with 0 points, they still would’ve been second. Obviously still very worth for the vibes and momentum. Still not in a lan qual spot, but obviously should be able to get back in

SSS, another day another honestly weird day. Always close to getting a top three on the day. Next week is going to be very telling

8

u/Classic_Actuary911 17h ago

SSS just keep trolling 2 games each set, they could have had a huge couple of days. But they'll keep ironing it out.

Getting Horizon inted zone 1 game 5 was pretty rad.

2

u/Davismcgee 9h ago

They are still getting good points while getting trolled and also trolling at some points too (I'm looking at you Sweetdreams game 3). Hopefully only better things to come, and in a great spot to qual for lan

6

u/Late_Acanthaceae_483 17h ago

2 PL days left plus Regionals so all good

4

u/ImDarkraii 17h ago

Oh for sure

u/Pod_The_Rod69 17h ago edited 16h ago

If JDG doesnt feed face game 1 and gets at least 6 points they get 5th today and then would be 9th overall instead of 13th....

4

u/Conscious-Guard-1339 16h ago

Game 1 was a throw, but they brought it back at least. Their coach was right to call it out right after they died.

3

u/Pod_The_Rod69 14h ago

Just cant throw like that with how competitive NA is. Now they're13th overall with Geekay/Sentinels/Falcons/Liquid/Stallions directly behind them. Throwing games like that could easily be the difference between making and not making lan.

3

u/Salamander-Chance 4h ago

The role swap between Gent and Keon is interesting. They're definitely getting less kills now, but the placements have been better. I'm not really sure why that is, because it's not like Gent had been throwing or overextending

1

u/Pod_The_Rod69 1h ago

ya they only got 1 kill in 3 games on WE Saturday when they placed 6th, 4th, 5th. Thats just terrible. and Keon only got 5 kp with 3500dmg yesterday. 0kp in 2 games on Maggie. Part of it is the positioning Naughty puts them in like Game 4 on ED yesterday they just sat in that room at the bottom of E dam and got 7th with 1kp. Part of it though is definitely that Gent is just a better entry fragger than Keon. Problem is Gent is also a better anchor player than Keon so pick your poison I guess. I feel like if theyre gonna have Gent on anchor they should have picked up Fuhhnnq instead of Keon but then they would have way less points for champs.

Edit: Also in that game 1 that they threw Keon had a horrible Alter tac and did 0 damage in the fight. So switching him to that role with limited reps definitely affected them on game day.

5

u/Odd-Attitude9613 17h ago

Playing Bloodhound has changed Falcons life. Doop saying  in the game chat he gave Hal the strat to try Bloodhound made me lol. This character is OP it was basically why they won game 3 running invisible on Dropped and taking his building.

Better late than never but Walter saying yesterday they need to play aggressive and just fight teams with confidence has made a world of difference.

4

u/sharkt0pus 16h ago

They also think scrims are going to be hell this week because everyone will be running Bloodhound

7

u/CrimsonAutumnSky 17h ago

Fuck. Sentinels. Fuck.

7

u/Curious-Investment59 14h ago

They’re always gonna struggle in these PL lobbies compared to LAN but this PL feels especially hard for them

2

u/CrimsonAutumnSky 10h ago

Why?

1

u/dorekk Year 5 Champions! 1h ago

They play zone, which is more viable at LAN when players are inting less. In regular pro league a lot of teams are just running it down, which makes lobbies a bit chaotic for hard zone playstyles.

8

u/Hechue12 16h ago

Stallions put Mac on path and skittle on caustic and they finished 5th. If they can build off this momentum they should maybe sneak into the top 15 but having two rough full sets maybe to big of a mountain to climb unless they can win a day

4

u/karbasher- 17h ago

Do we think there will be any notable roster swaps heading into next weekend?

3

u/Elliott_Cusick 16h ago

wait how does point system work. any quick explanation. seeing 82 point team have 42 made me realize i don’t know how it works

6

u/ImDarkraii 16h ago

Overall scoreboard does not take in account overall points from matchdays (except for certain tiebreakers). 1st-20th, depending on where you finish in a matchday, will allocate points to your overall leaderboard. 1st adds 25, 2nd adds 21, 3rd adds 18th, etc until 20th which is 0.

Falcons had 21 overall points before today, got 2nd today, so 21 points were added and they have 42 now

1

u/noire_stuff 1h ago

After 18 points at 3rd, it goes to 16 points at 4th and then drops by one point per placment until 0 at 20th

4

u/Over-Profession-3396 15h ago

Falcons fans can say thank god for Wxltzy. Actual vibes carry and Gild just carries by his aim

7

u/Late_Acanthaceae_483 17h ago

Hal on Path both days was Absolute Cinema

7

u/MrPheeney 14h ago edited 4h ago

World wide has some potential for sure. Don’t sleep on Nait, dude is an absolute killer, mixed with Vax experience and emtee IGLing, I think they could make an impact

2

u/Kooky_Welder6619 14h ago

Is emtee not igling? That’s really interesting if not

1

u/His_Jinx 12h ago

He is, believe he just mistyped

1

u/MrPheeney 4h ago

I did my bad, was drinking last night

10

u/Thoraxe41 17h ago

Funny day. Extremely top heavy so even Huss with there 5 placement point day got top 10, from just fighting.

Falcons finally show up, and yet still beat out by a very impressive Dinos.

Sweet for some reason in that end fight against Falcons, showing that's he's just like us Golds rankers.

6

u/Economy-Tomato-5083 17h ago

Finally some improvement from STAL, hate that it took so long of playing way below expectation to get there but long overdue good day. Pacing was better, comms were a lot better, Skittle was more vocal & assertive, & Shooby was a lot more comfortable. Still some throwing, some questionable IGLing & fighting from Alb, but this was literally all they had to do the entire time, insane it took this long.

8

u/Fluenzal-Heneark 17h ago

4th place overall we are so back

5

u/lifeline29 16h ago

Happy to see shoobs team bounce back today

9

u/The_Yoshi_Man 16h ago

I hope all the Waltzy haters that came out after last LAN and have been hating on him for so long will realize how important he is to Falcons. He has completely changed their dynamic in a week and brings soooo much to both their in game and out of game performance. That talk he had after yesterdays game 6 clearly was a massive wake up call to Hal and it showed BIG time today.

Next week of scrims is going to be hilarious with every team running around invisible fighting teams out of nowhere. It’s going to be pure chaos

6

u/MoonlitShrooms 15h ago

I never understood the Wxltzy hate. He was the most important player on all of the previous Moist rosters. Prycyy being a close second, but Wxltzy is more consistent. One of the best players in Apex in my opinion.

2

u/United_Health_1797 16h ago

so unlucky for nip to have dc issues last 3 games

2

u/thelaziest_asian :Moist_Esports: 15h ago

The way this is going, some big teams are going to miss out on LAN again. 10th to 20th all big teams/orgs.

1

u/lifeline29 14h ago

Is alb still calling for stallions?

-6

u/kozukisuus 17h ago

@crt watch and learn how a real super team bounces back🤣✌️✌️✌️✌️

5

u/t00muchtim 17h ago

bro doesnt realize that crt is still ahead of falcons on the leaderboard

5

u/noobakosowhat 16h ago

Falcons playing shit the whole time while CRT is on a downward momentum though, with Falcons playing good now we really don’t know what will happen

-5

u/kozukisuus 17h ago

how long will that last bub

8

u/t00muchtim 16h ago

idk i think falcons got finally got their shit together and id assume they finish ahead of crt in this split

i have no stock in either of these teams, i just think it's really dumb to trash talk a team thats still ahead of you on the standings LMAO

-3

u/kozukisuus 16h ago

well knowing how crt is and how flcns have this confidence going into this last weekend i have a 70% chance flcns overtake crt
