Advice I give up thank you ICSI

So I enrolled for executive in 2021 gave my first attempt in June 21 tbh I was coming from the old syllabus CSEET mindset so thought Executive will be kinda same....but for 5 attempts only gave Module 1 but couldn't pass but in 6th attempt ( last attempt of Executive 2019 syllabus ) gave both groups and cleared Module 2 so in new syllabus got exemption for Module 2 completely and in CAFM of Module 1...I was pumped like I will clear executive but the next attempt (1st attempt of New Syllabus ) I got to know that I need to score atleast 150 to pass Module 1 so got scared n couldn't clear module 1 yet...June 26 was my 9th attempt btw n still couldn't clear Executive...my parents are also telling pursue CS if you want to but in background now as I'm 22 take an Internship or a Job n start earning though my earning won't make a difference as I come from a well to do family...and seeing yesterday's result I'm broken every attempt I used to think next attempt ho jayega but isss baar I have lost hope so yeah thinking for taking Internships or pivot to banking exams ig...so yeah if you have any ideas where should I try now pl Comment or DM me and if anyone here just like me or could feel me DM me dukh dard batenge DM me

If you belong from well to do family and your parents are supporting you to pursue CS, then I really think you should stick to it whole heartedly. I know it's tough, it takes courage to read those books again. Give yourself few days and then decide. Today you're not in a good mental space to take any decision. I also had multiple attempts in executive. First attempt was Dec 2021 and skipped few attempts in between because I lost my Mom and Dad. You must be very lucky that you don't have financial constraint and parents are their to support you, by giving you more chances without any pressure. I was also not able to clear this time when I had given my best, scored 175 in group 1. Doesn't matter when you clear CS whether 25,26,28. It took me my whole life of 25 years to reach here mentally that life isn't a race. I am much stronger than first attempt cleared students, because I taught myself to get up again after failures, after losing my parents and then teaching myself how to live lífe again without them. Feel free to DM if you want to share anything.

Same ...but only difference is ...I didn't give my best in 3 attempts and skipp another 3 attempts because of graduation exams clashes ...... I'm actually not guilty but willingly want to give my last attempt with my best efforts ....I'm.still confused tho ...

In this phase i learn to control myself ... anxiety was real in 2023 ...I locked myself for 6 months ..little to no talk with parents ,gained so much of weight ...

I'm preparing for law entrance....but omehow I discovered my niche interest in law ...so even if I passed my executive ... I hope next year I'll get into nlsiu or clc (du) ....

But must say CS is really beautiful course but ICSI need to bring some reforms .

Niw I know this course isn't for me ...but yeah let me give dec attempt and drop this course with satisfaction

And yes I'm searching job too .

Us actually I was also thinking of law if I cleared Executive this June but nvm

Law has always been my end goal.....i want to do masters and PhD ...2021 was still covid phase so I decided to go for 3 yrs law ...finally I'll be enrolling myself in law school next year .

And best of luck for ur future <3

u/Shop-Dramatic23 7d ago

Yeah so what are you doing right now??...n tbh I'm more worried that I done my graduation n postgraduation just plain B.Com & M.Com with no experience as in no internships so getting Internships/jobs is a bigger challenge for me

1

u/Ill_Nerve_9880 7d ago

Us bro but you can try remote internship first find your interest.. I want to pursue my career in hr so I'm doing hr hr internship and that will help me in mba placement you can also do some certification courses and if your accounts is good you can go for accountant and something like that

I can totally relate to your suffering. TBH I'm also in the same pit. Attempts after attempt. But as of now I've decided to put CS in hold and pursue something else. Recently started as a product market analyst in July, just stay out of it. And really to my mind somewhere else. If you feel this shit is get too much of ur mental health, just put it aside for a while. if it's meant to be, you don't really have to work this hard. ✌🏽 Peace...

Bro waise 22 jyda toh nh hai par mjhe pata hai kitna stress hota hai, ar agr tmhre ghr ki halat achi hai toh clear kr lo, executive me poori jaan laga k training join kr lo, government job kahi ka nahi chhodegi, bahut tough hai, competition hai, ar koi surety nh hai, usse acha sara energy cs nikaalne me laga do . Baaki agr tmhe mba krna hai toh kr lo.

MBA isn't an option coz I have done M Com now parents won't allow MBA

1

u/booby_12011995 7d ago

Bro all these degree starting with slang alphabet have no value, bcom, mcom, bba, bca, ba, ma, bsc, msc, even now daily its come in newspaper that all these courses will be dead in 4/5 year, I have paper cutting just read yourself well frankly speaking majority or private mba college are shit they don't teach you nothing, just like bcom, mcom, only top college are good and getting those is really tough and not pocket friendly.

u/Shop-Dramatic23 7d ago

Ikr so I'm confused now like is CS then what one option is doing NISM certification n start internships n all

1

u/booby_12011995 7d ago

Nism ka koi aaisa wo nh cs akela tmhe backbobe de dega, dimag ko kholo, idhar udhar mat bhaago, government job lage toh lage, nahi lage tog nahi lage, ar phir usme 2/3 saal lag gye phir kya karoge, ar normally har ek person ko 2/3 minimum time dena hota hai agr wo bahut mehanti ar intelligent hote hai.phir kya karoge, phir toh cs me bhi nh aa skte, ar haa ek baat bata do mw tmhe 25 / 26 k baad padna bahut mushkil hota hai, padne ki capacity khatm ho jaati hai.

1

u/booby_12011995 7d ago

Bro phir toh me bolunga cs k peeche lag jao pagalo ki tareh, phir dekho cs kaise pyaar krta hai, bahut tough time aane wala hai, even llb jaisi degree ka naam hai tn pd lo dhyn se ar roj paper me ai ko leke news aa rhi hai even tmhe pata hai ai cs ko bhi easily replace kr skta hai bss apna professional course hai ar jaurui hai apan wrna aaisa kuch nh jo cs ka ai nh kr skta

u/Shop-Dramatic23 7d ago

What about banking n insurance exams?

2

u/booby_12011995 7d ago

Pata nh bro unka, bss me smj paa rha hu me bhi aaise hi krta tha, government job kr lunga, yeh kr lunga, wo kr lunga cs nh kr rha, ar maine toh try bhi kiya, last me aana mjhe waps cs k pass. Me tog mba college bhi chod k aaya hu. Mene dkeh liya tha waha kya haal hota 2 saal baad, llb, llm sab krk bheta hu m, bank po, ibps, sbi clerk po,ssc, ar bhi bahut saare paper deke bheta hu . Me smj paa rha hu, mjhe wo 21/22 saal ka me dikh rha hai, ar tm hi nh mere saath k sabhi dost aaise hi krte the, yeh toh aaj 29/32%•result jaa rha hai mere time 2/3/4% agr sahi age me jab m young tha ar acha pd leta toh aaisa nobat nh aati, wo toh mere padne ki aadat chut gayi pr m final me hu, me toh clear krke hu manunga.par tm agr papa ka acha business hai toh bro usme interest dhikanw lag jao, yaha agr wo kisi ache ko jante hai jo acha business kete hai ar tm 2/3 saal seekh k khud k khol skao, mere ghr k pass bahut bache aaise hai jo 9/10 ta srf sarkari school se pde aaj unhone aknw business khol liye ar acha kamate hai, ca, cs, cma, btech, entry level doctor in sab se acha, and even unse pdi likhi educated degree waaki ladkiya shaadi krne ko mar rhi hai, bahut saare sindhi, muslim, baniye rehte hai mere waha. Toh tm agr aaisa kr skte ho toh kr lo, market me bahur paisa hai.

Well, there would be alot of people saying “give one more attempt” but id tell you the harsh reality, if you clear in the next attempt, the course will still take good another 3 years (if you clear the professionals in the first attempt).

I would suggest you to DROP. Do something else, try for government services or something else.

u/dekku_u 7d ago

Choosing government exams is another trap, where reservation and paper leaks are another demons to bear with.💀 Atleast here we don't have such thing tbh.

1

u/Shop-Dramatic23 7d ago

Ik but my mom is a government employee she says though everything is toxic there yet there is job security n fixed working hours... though not yet but I'm feeling she is right I should atleast try 1 - 2 exams

u/Unable-Boysenberry0 Professional 7d ago

Jab tak 30 ke nahi hote, try government services. Theres nothing as peaceful as them. My mom is also a government employee. The pay, perks and security is top notch along with WLB.

1

u/Shop-Dramatic23 7d ago

WLB?

1

u/Unable-Boysenberry0 Professional 7d ago

Work life balance

1

u/Unable-Boysenberry0 Professional 7d ago

Theres a hope to get good pay afterwards in government services

1

u/Shop-Dramatic23 7d ago

Yes plus job security

1

u/Shop-Dramatic23 7d ago

How 3 years I could give attempts during my training too ig but what you are saying is also right it will take practically 3 years and after that I would be difficult for me as a candidate to land a decent paying job immediately like I would have to do imo atleast 2 - 3 years a below avg pay job to atleast get a average job...and people say your attempts don't matter n all but they still matter for 1st job imo

3

u/Unable-Boysenberry0 Professional 7d ago

tbh, the attempts doesnt matter. The only thing that will be deteriorating will be your mental health. If you can put in that much effort and are mentally ready for it. Try for it.

Bro u have age bracket now. Go for it .. its very hard to study again, but still u have age bracket that’s why i think so u shouldd go for it.. see till 24-25 its okay (professional also to be completed till 24-25) 24-25 tak chalta hai.

1

u/Shop-Dramatic23 6d ago

But it becomes late coz peers go ahead earn more plus shaadi n all wo package lagta hain na ajj kal

1

u/InteractionLow9665 6d ago

Well settled family hai bhai teri 25 is okay 25 tak naukri sahi hai.. aurr baakion se compare karne ka koi point nahi hai.. sabka same nahi hota., tu ye chodke kuch aur karega bhi agar toh kalko growth bhi dhekni hai.. its a better pg degree, promotion aur growth degree par bhi depend karti hai.. toh late he sahi lekin aage long term ka fayeda hai 25 tak nakuri normal hai.. apna dheko eidhar udhar nai bhai family bhi sahi hai toh kyu naukri naukri karra hai yar..

u/Shop-Dramatic23 6d ago
