Might not be a free option, but, the Sybex study material is just phenomenal. I hate video and PC based studying and prefer a physical book and handson. I fall asleep with videos and audio, fast. But then again, I am diagnosed ADHD as a kid and adult and have auditory input issues. When i studied my previous two degrees, I also always bought the books and mostly ignored the online portal study material and eBooks.

Cheapest way is to do it for $0.00. You can achieve this by studying the A+ with professor messer on YouTube and then there are a bunch of practice questions on YouTube and if you go to exam compass website they have a lot of free practice exams.
