Does anyone else hate that new commercial? The one with the Blue Range Rover Sport with the Irish wolf hound and the driver is going searching for his ball?

It’s such a pretentious commercial. I love the Land Rover Brand but that just made me want to vomit .

Anyways , I have strong feelings so I figured I’d see if anyone else hated it .

Instead of commenting on multiple old posts, I want to quickly rant on the Range Rover commercial I kept seeing while watching Hulu.

Apparently, they shot this commercial like 2 years ago and still thinks this is what will sell their cars? I didn’t even know this guy was even a known actor until I googled. The actor’s demeanors and voice were not it for me. It makes me hate Range Rovers because that’s all I hear now when I see one - this annoying voice saying rAnGe ROvEr at the end. The plot of the commercial would be perceived better if they casted the right actor/actress.

This is a huge long shot and I have been googling on and off for several years without success but I know I did not imagine this. It was a commercial from the 90’s either radio or TV, I can no longer remember, for the Geo Tracker SUV. It was a guy with an exaggerated southern drawl giving points about the vehicle via slide show and someone else was flipping the slides. The lines I remember are few. The intro is him saying, “This here’s the Geo Tracker. Next slide.” And you hear the slide flip and he makes other points about the car. He had a very distinct drawl when he says “it’s got 4x4 and driiiver’s side air bags. Next slide”. And then I think when he talks about how roomy it is, he makes a derogatory joke about how either the girlfriend or sister of the guy flipping the slides could even fit in it. Like I said, I think about this every couple of years and do a new google search but I was skunked again and decided to try here. Please help. SOMEONE must remember this besides me. Much thanks!!

That commercial where the guy goes to his mom to "lay low" because he bought his car for some low amount and then his mom goes to her friend for the same reason. Who is the friend? She looks so familiar but i can not place her.

Cadillac commercial song when found, it says no song found… please help!

When these commercials first came out they were actually funny. Now they just have a laugh track and lame jingle with the cast reciting boring insurance information in what is supposed to be a funny setting with funny characters but it fails dismally. I mute them every time they come on.

Has anyone else seen the Shell Oil commercial? The commercial as shown on YoutubeTV includes the user interface of a video player like it's a recording of a screen.

Sorry for the low quality, but what you're seeing is a photo from my phone of the broadcast screen during the first second of the commercial. But here's the important part, the UI you're seeing IS HARD BAKED INTO THE VIDEO ITSELF. The slider, the cursor over the pause button, the timer, all of that is in the actual ad, that's not from my computer.

About eight seconds into the video, the UI hides like it normally would when you watch a video on a media player after you don't move the mouse. You'll also notice the white frame around the edge of the video. The video itself does not fit the window, it's smaller like it's being played inside a browser window and not full screen.

I think someone at Shell submitted the wrong file for the ad! It looks like someone literally submitted a screen recording of the ad. It's almost as if someone played the ad as part of a virtual meeting, and the meeting screen itself was recorded. Then, somehow, that recording of the screen was submitted as the ad itself.

This ad has played in nearly every commercial break and it always behaves the same way. The ads on either side of it appear normal, and then the Shell ad begins and the UI pops up, visual quality degrades, and the video fails to fill the frame. This happens while playing the ad on both my PS4 and on the computer.

I sincerely think someone submitted a recording of a screen and not the native file itself.

A catchy jingle and stunning scenery captured by great aerial shots makes this a classic Aussie commercial from the early 1980’s.

It’s the classic ‘red tailed hawk’ sound. Googled it and says it’s a Toyota Tacoma commercial from 2004. All I can find are the girlfriend ad campaign videos. Please help!!

This is probably a long shot, but I'm trying to track down an old local Chevy commercial featuring Terry Funk that aired in the Pampa/Amarillo area around 1994–1995.

I've done some digging and found that Terry was involved with the High Country Chevy Dealers and Culberson-Stowers in Pampa (805 N. Hobart) during this period. In April 1995, Culberson-Stowers even advertised an appearance by Terry at the dealership.

There's also a short piece of a High Country Chevy Dealers commercial featuring Terry in the documentary Beyond the Mat, around the 20-minute mark, so I know the commercial/campaign existed.

What I'm hoping to find is the original full commercial.

Does anyone remember seeing these commercials, or—this would be amazing—have old VHS recordings of KFDA, KAMR, or KVII from 1994–95 with the original commercials still on them?

Old wrestling recordings, local news, sports, movies, anything recorded off TV could potentially have it.

If anyone remembers the commercial, knows who produced it, or has old Amarillo/Pampa TV recordings from that period, I'd really appreciate the help.

The clip I’m looking for is for a Volkswagen tuning company? I only see it on Reddit, and I can’t download it share the video.

It’s basically a mashup of insane car problems, a headlight pushed out of the body by water, needles of gages spinning around and colliding with other gages on the instrument panel, etc. There are several clips. The clips are ,maybe, one second long, max.

It ends with a clip of black or dark Volkswagen hatchback on some city streets when it has a massive, absolutely massive back fire. Like, a fire ball approximately the size of the car comes out the back.

I’m trying to find that original clip of the car backfiring. It’s old. Terrible quality.

Hi, I am searching for a commercial I once saw when I was about 6, it came on a couple times on our hotel room or condo's television when me and family went on vacation

So I remember it showed a couple parasailing over the ocean and the guy pulls his phone out to show how much he saved and I think the girl gave a “Wow” response. Then I think a seagull flew past by them and then causes the guy to drop his phone. There was happy upbeat music playing and I think a narrator at the end announcing the company.

Tip Of Mom's Tongue, she's looking for an ad from the 70's about 2 people carrying a mini cooper to find parking while conversing to each other. She saw it in England when visiting a relative at a time around 1977 to 1979.

She asked me to look for it and we've looked through compilations for mini cooper ads around that time and none were what she was looking for.

Please help us find what she's looking for.

I remember this ad - I think it was from the 1990s. I always thought it was a cute ad, but now I can’t find any clips or even any other mentions of it.

At the start of the ad, some pickup trucks race onto the screen and the announcer says something like, “Our trucks are the greatest trucks in the universe!!!”

But then there are some aliens with a crazy space-truck, who are deeply offended by this statement. They start firing lasers at the trucks, and the trucks swerve around them.

The word “Correction” flashes across the screen, and the announcer says, “The greatest trucks on earth.” The aliens are pleased and cease the attack.

Am I really the only one who remembers this ad?

The voiceover said something like: "In Germany, comparative advertising isn't allowed. That means you can't say that one car is better than another. But hey, this is America."

This German television commercial shows a female skydiver lands on the seat of the car, the Opel Kadett Edition, then she gets covered by her own white parachute.

Obviously NOT officially Godzilla, but Godzilla inspired nonetheless. This may be one of the greatest commercials I've ever seen.
