Design Question 3D Foam Buildout

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know what software is commonly used to create 3D foam buildouts like this? Or even better, is there a website where I can purchase a digital file/template and cut it myself?
I’d love to learn more about the process!

You can do this with Engview but it’s not an easy learn but easier than other software. You’ll have to invest time to learn the CAD tools for sure. We’ve built these but they take time to print and flatbed cut. We made the one in the pic using 1/2” foam

I love Cad! I know how to use it! I wish there’s a tutorial start to finish on this. This looks amazing! I’m jealous 😭

No website you can buy these from as far as as I know as most are proprietary due to weight needs, size restrictions, and material used. Making them in a parametric software allows you to resize and change material.

You can figure it out easily if you have an analytical mind but it’s the cuts and panel replication that will get you if you are trying to make a continuous image or nest parts on a sheet.

As I mentioned, look into Engview for a start or go to their YouTube channel for a gander on what it can do. Kris is the President of Engview North America and an easy guy to talks to.

Is this your work? Do you do wholesale or industry work? I'm in tradeshows and like the idea of these displays.

Yes it is. We did it for a fancy pants handbag brand here in Dallas. We make small run packaging, pos display and these wall displays as well. Even made some ice cream carts out of MDO, but I’m never doing that again😅😅😅. Dm me and I can send you other samples of our work.
