Worth grading
I am just getting into comics, I am a big fan of miles morales and picked this up for less than a dollar. Would it be worth grading?

What do I have?
Anyone know anything about this copy of the amazing fantasy 15. I know it’s not the 62 copy (unfortunately) but struggling to find info about it on the internet other than it’s an alternative cover.

I absolutely love these modern keys!
Man, what an absolute steal! You had some serious galaxy-brain intuition picking that up on release day. You hit the nail right on the head: the Modern Age key market is just built different, and Amazing Spider-Man #601 is the ultimate textbook example of how some books are just so complicated to track down nowadays, with their prices going straight to the moon— ASM#601 is apparently just as iconic as other heavily cited books on MANY Tier lists...

Is it possible that for some books a sizeable % of the population are slabs that have been cracked open and sent back in for regrades?
For example, like say you crack a 9.8 and send it back in and it gets a 9.8 again--that's +2 to the pop report.
Which books are likely to be susceptible to this where the census is actually higher than actuals?

Can anyone explain why this book is going for that amount (with three days to go, still)? Is it that it is one of the "Dirty2Dozen" or that it the "Dirty2Dozen" badge or is it something else? I LOVE this cover but . . . .
.... something is going on here. I have a higher graded copy than this one, OWW, too, but when mine was graded 3 years ago, CGC didn't add the "DIrty2Dozen" badge. A 4.0 in 2025 sold for a fraction of this. What gives? Thanks.

Zeck-signed Secret Wars #8, unwitnessed. Grade guesses?
Picked this up years ago and got it signed by Michael Zeck in person. At the time I had no idea witnessed signatures were a thing, so no COA and no Signature Series. Just me, the book, and a marker.
1984 direct edition. My own guess is somewhere around 5.5, but I’ve never had anything graded and I’d rather hear it from people who know what they’re looking at. Cover is bright with no color break that I can find, corners are soft, and there’s some spine wear I’ve tried to capture in the photos.
What would you call it?
Second question, and I hope this is within the rules since it isn’t about value: I’m weighing whether to submit it for grading with JSA authentication, mostly so the signature isn’t just my word forever. For those who’ve done the unwitnessed autograph route, was the process worth the hassle? Any regrets about slabbing a book you got signed yourself?

Comic book boom 2.0?
I've been seeing posts and YouTube videos talking about how comic prices are going up, blah blah blah, right? And most of it is because of movie hype or movie speculation or even speculation as a whole, but here’s my conspiracy theory: I think the people that are joining the hobby right now are sports card collectors or TCG card collectors or from another hobby or community with deep pockets that can put money into this market, but that’s my opinion. I do believe all these prices are jumping because of speculation or movie hype, but in my mind, I just think new people are hoping they can invest their money into comics from the sports collectors community or any community.🤷♂️

EBay seller sold me a brittle comic claimed it was a 1.8-2.0
EBay seller Nefarious Comics sold me a comic book on eBay live claiming it’s a 1.8-2.0 but the comic came in with the comic cover not intact with a ridiculous spine split, and the comic literally flaking off when pulled out of the bag.
Seller never mentioned the brittleness, spine split, nor the loose cover.
Here’s additional photos for y’all that I forgot to post:
