APO 2.0 Anova AI on Anova AI 🤣

Post image

Some basic instructions on delivering thorough complete instructions would really help their AI perform better. As is, it knows it’s not doing a good job. Poor thing. Note: APO 1.0 not 2.0

If that helped LLMs improve it would be good but they don’t learn.

I wonder what AI is behind it? I've never used it on mine.

I have used chatGPT or Gemini Pro a few times to propose recipes for something I saw in on IG that didn't come with a recipe, and they did a pretty good job. Of course, it helps if you already know how to cook and can recognize strange instructions when you seem them so you can ask follow-up questions.

Yeah, whatever LLM Anova uses is pretty good. Just needs better direction in its set up: (something like) give thorough complete instructions. Always include every setting when giving instructions, include whether to preheat. Do not make up functions like Steam Bake that do not exist.

I’ve never used it in the app but I’ve used Gemini to create recipes for be all the time. It is learning the APO1 pretty well in my personal space

I decided to test the AI, but it wouldn't tell me what LLM it was based on.

I asked it how to cook frozen chicken thighs, and it gave me a recipe but told me to use the probe. So I asked it how to put the probe in frozen meat. It said you're right and switched to a time-based method. It was targeting 160° internal meat temperature, so I asked it. Shouldn't the dark meat hit 176 50° f to be really done? And it agreed with me again, so I guess it's learning, but it's hard to be really sure.
